This special lithograph of Bill Yeoman is part of the Texas Sports Hall of Fame series. Yeoman was the University of Houston football coach from 1962 to1986, 25 seasons. He invented the triple veer option in 1964. He led Houston to 11 bowl games and won four SWC titles – 1976, 1978, 1979 and 1984. Yeoman coached 46 All-Americans and 69 NFL players and was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 2001 and was the 1976 Texas Coach of the Year and runner up National Coach of the Year.
Only 50 limited edition prints, 5 artist's proofs and 15 inductee proofs were produced from artwork by Robert Hurst, the
Official Artist to the Texas Sports Hall of Fame. Yeoman signed the prints during his Texas Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony February 2004. A certificate of authenticity is included with the print along with a photo of Yeoman signing. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.
